Welcome!
Anime-Myth.com is an encyclopedia of fairy tale, folklore, symbolism, and mythology references used in
anime and manga. If you're looking for information pertaining to the magical girl genre of anime, you'll find it in my
encyclopedia of the genre, Henshin. I continually strive to keep
this resource complete and accurate, so feel free to contact me about any changes that need to be made or additions that can be offered. Enjoy!
August 24, 2007: It's been almost two years since I updated this site. No, I didn't mean to abandon it, sorry about that. I've been working on a Master's actually since 2005 and am finishing up a book. Once it's complete and editing is complete, we'll see about where to start here with updates and whatnot. Yes, much of the information is hopelessly in need of rewrite, especially anything Utena related.
