Icarus
Icarus was the youth given wings of wax and feather but flew too close to the sun and so plunged into the sea. In Sorcerer on the Rocks the weapon or beast is named Icarus.
Incantations
Mudoru
A curse brand in Alice 19th. It is a black letter absorbed into the body after a maram master burns a word into the victim's body. It is a high spell.
Na Sadaru Lotis Ran
Incantation used by a Lotis Master to enter the Inner Heart in Alice 19th. Incantations of course are phrases traditionally of power or magic.
Injuh
A sex demon. One of these is invoked in the film Idol of Darkness. In this example, several symbols should be noted. First, the doll/idol that houses the spirit and is used in the awakening ceremony is made from wood. Dolls and statues are often thought to possess or house a spirit (thus the object being shaped in the spirit's likeness); the wood material links the malevolent spirit to nature or to being something ancient or even primordial. It's substance is an early form used in worship and invocations. This tie is furthered by the altar's being made from a tree and bearing the icon of a tree behind the platform where the doll/statue is to sit during the ritual. Lieh, a woman jealous of the cute and popular rival she has, Ikumi, seeks to invoke the dark demon. As it is an injuh, the ritual calls for a kind of sacrifice or release of energy, in this case sexual. She brings her servant to help with this. In some forms of magic, for example, at least one branch of taoism, sexual energy is a form of energy and can be used to gain energy for one's mind and body, or in the use of magic. Also, it should be noted some priestesses and deities were associated with sexual ritual. One remembered element of the maenads, priestesses to Bacchus, was that they participated in sexual acts while intoxicated with the wine of the deity they served. A last note is that since the demon is a pure dark force, it takes a pure good force to seal him, Akira's love for his girlfriend Ikumi.

Inugami
Dog spirit. They are thought to be able to be invisible, and to be protective spirits. Both Inuki and the wolves at the end of the manga Shirahime Syo are inugami or dog spirits. Inuki from CLAMP's X is another guardian inugami. Inu-Yasha, his father, and his brother Sessho-Maru are all inugami. Both Sessho-Maru and his father are shown in their true form as great beasts. Sessho-Maru has a crescent on his forehead, even while in true form. Inu-Yasha's name would translate as inu-dog, and yasha-demon. He is half inugami from his father and human from his mortal mother.
Ishtar
Babylonian goddess of fertility, love, war, marriage, childbirth, and many other aspects. A mother and underworld goddess as well. Marik and his sister Isis have the family name of Ishtar in Yu-Gi-Oh. They were born into a family of tomb keepers for the pharoah, in which two Millenium Items have been passed down.
Isis
Egyptian goddess of the earth, and patron of mothers and wives. Isis is Marik's sister in the Yu-Gi-Oh anime and the holder of the Millenium Tauk.
